| Dr. James Waldroop |
CareerLeader, LLP CEO and Co-founder Dr. James Waldroop was until 2001 Co-Director of MBA Career Development Programs at the Harvard Business School,
where he had worked since 1981. Together with Dr. Timothy Butler, he developed the Internet-based career assessment program CareerLeader®
(www.careerleader.com), currently used by more than 400 corporations, MBA programs, and universities worldwide.
Dr. Waldroop's work focuses on two areas of interface between psychology and the world of business:
individual leadership development, and career development assessment and counseling. He has worked with a wide range of organizations in both the manufacturing and service sectors,
from Fortune 50 corporations to smaller high-growth firms. His clients include McKinsey & Company, Fidelity Management Research Company, Sony Music Entertainment, Globespan Capital Partners, Boston Communications Group, Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath, Manpower, the Boston Consulting Group, and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
Dr. Waldroop frequently lectures at business schools, corporations, and other organizations throughout the world on topics related to attracting and retaining talent, and maximizing performance. He earned a Ph.D. in psychology in 1979 from the University of Texas at Austin.
